Privacy policy

Last updated October 26, 2026. Eulogy by Tonight is run by MMR Internet, LLC ("we"). This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Your questionnaire answers: your name, the name and details of the person you're remembering, your memories and the other details you choose to give us.
  • Your email address, for your receipt and the link to your drafts.
  • Payment details are entered on Stripe's checkout page. We receive confirmation that you paid and the amount, never your card number.
  • Usage data from Google Analytics (pages viewed, device type and approximate location) and our server logs, to understand how the site is used and keep it secure.

How we use it

Your answers are used only to write and show your eulogy and obituary, and your email only to send your receipt and link and to reply if you contact us. We don't sell your information, we don't use your memories for marketing, and we don't publish them.

Who processes it for us

  • Anthropic (Claude API) receives your answers to write your drafts. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through its API is not used to train its models.
  • Stripe processes payments.
  • SiteGround hosts the site and stores your order.
  • Google provides Analytics.

How long we keep it

We delete your answers, your drafts and your email from our order database 90 days after your order, and unpaid orders after 2 days. Stripe keeps payment records as required for tax and accounting. To have your order deleted sooner, email admin@eulogybytonight.com.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to protect forms, and Google Analytics cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; the site still works.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing admin@eulogybytonight.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them.

Children

The service is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 13.
